About Us 
We are situated between Concarneau and Pont Aven. Concarneau is to the west of Les Figuiers. This is a busy port with all the shops and restaurants you could wish for as well as twice-weekly markets. | | Pont Aven is to the east. This is a beautiful town, made famous by Gaugin at the end of the 19th. century. Les Figuiers was built by a painter called Andre Jolly in 1910. He painted with the same school set up by Gaugin. Their paintings are on display at the museum in the town. The nearest shop and restaurant are at Port Manech, 1 km. away. The nearest town to us is Nevez, about 5km away, which you will find on most road maps of the area. This has a Post Office, banks and a supermarket as well as several restaurants. |
